Toilet dimensions and clearances
A typical close-coupled toilet is 360 to 400 mm wide, 600 to 700 mm from the wall to the front of the pan, and 780 to 850 mm high to the top of the cistern. In the UK, BS 6465-2 recommends a clear space 800 mm wide and 600 mm deep in front of the pan. In the US, the plumbing code asks for 15 in (381 mm) from the centre line to a side wall and 21 in (533 mm) clear in front. CAD Blocks (cadblocks.app) has a free toilet block with the plan, front and side.

Clear space around the toilet
UK: BS 6465-2 recommends an activity space 800 mm wide and 600 mm deep in front of the pan, and about 200 mm between the side of the pan and a wall or fitting.
US: the International Plumbing Code asks for at least 15 in (381 mm) from the toilet's centre line to a side wall or obstruction, 21 in (533 mm) clear in front, and 30 in (762 mm) between the centre lines of two fixtures. The NKBA's guidelines recommend more: 18 in (457 mm) and 30 in (762 mm).
Accessible toilets follow other rules (Approved Document M and BS 8300 in the UK, the ADA in the US). Check the current edition with building control before you issue drawings.
